Education, Training and Communications Program

ETC

The primary role of the Education, Training and Communications (ETC) Program is to develop and implement education and training opportunities for CCAC constituents. This requires close collaboration with the Assessment and Certification, Guidelines, and Three Rs Programs to transform content provided by these three programs into user-friendly tools for CCAC constituents.

As the national organization responsible for overseeing the ethical care and use of animals in science, it is essential that the CCAC communicates effectively with the research community, those involved in the care of laboratory animals, and the general public. Like most other organizations, the CCAC now uses its website as its key communications tool and the ETC Program plays a vital role in the development and maintenance of this public interface.
