Save the Date for the 2019 Symposium on Social Housing of Laboratory Animals

Register now for the 6th Annual Symposium on Social Housing of Laboratory Animals which will be held on June 3 and 4, 2019, at the National Agricultural Library in Beltsville, MD.

The event brings together experts in animal behavior and welfare to address common issues in trying to achieve the mandate for social housing of social species. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss the challenges and special issues they are facing at their own institutions with the experts and their peers. As an added bonus, there will be a behind-the-scenes tour of the National Zoo the morning of June 2 for the first 30 interested registrants.

For detailed information, pricing and registration, see the Center for Alternatives to Animal Testing website. Note that the symposium last year was RACE accredited, and we will be applying to provide RACE credits again this year.
