The CCAC is Seeking Animal Welfare Organizations for its Membership

The Canadian Council on Animal Care (CCAC) is recruiting animal welfare organizations to join its membership. The CCAC’s membership is currently comprised of 22 member organizations from across the country, with an interest in science, education, and animal ethics and care. The diverse composition of its membership reflects a wide range of interests, concerns, and objectives regarding animal-based science in Canada.

CCAC membership provides organizations with the opportunity to collaborate and contribute to setting, maintaining, and overseeing the implementation of high standards for animal ethics and care in Canadian science. Information about the CCAC, including its vision, mission, and mandate, can be found on the CCAC website.

If you work with, contribute to, or support an animal welfare organization that may have an interest in becoming a member of the CCAC, please forward this information to the appropriate contact. Any interested organizations must submit a statement of interest and a completed application form to by Monday, January 13, 2020. Successful applicants should expect an answer by March 2020.
