New Initiative for Promoting Certification Status
Holding a CCAC Certificate of GAP – Good Animal Practice® tangibly demonstrates that your institution participates fully in the CCAC's programs and adheres to the highest standards of animal ethics and care in research, teaching, and testing. As an initiative to further emphasize your organization’s commitment to animal welfare, the CCAC now offers a certification ribbon graphic, based on the artwork from the CCAC Certificate of GAP – Good Animal Practice®, for use in digital and printed media. We encourage you to use this new graphic to show both stakeholders and the public that you are in good standing with the CCAC, and are committed to animal welfare in science.
Institutions that have a valid certificate can contact us at any time to request the graphic. Institutions assigned a new certificate or renewal will receive the digital ribbon graphic (as well as a guide for its use) as part of their certification package.
