Contribute to the Review of the CCAC’s End of Study Guidelines
The CCAC guidelines: End of study outcomes for animals is now available for public review. This document was created for investigators, study directors, animal care committees, facility managers, veterinarians, and animal care staff to establish general guidelines on potential outcomes at the completion of a scientific activity for all animals used in science. It is based on expert peer advice and current interpretation of scientific evidence, and has undergone multiple reviews.
Help advance high standards for the ethical care and use of animals in Canadian science by providing your insight and input on this guidelines document. We also encourage you to share this draft with others, or collaboratively review the guidelines with your colleagues. Please note that the draft document you receive will likely undergo significant changes prior to final approval and publication.
