Call for CCAC Protocol Review Subcommittee Members
The Canadian Council on Animal Care (CCAC) is forming a new subcommittee of volunteer experts to revise the CCAC guidelines on: animal use protocol review (1997). This opportunity is open to those with experience in the creation and evaluation of animal use protocols, as well as with animal health, ethics, animal husbandry, and animal welfare. Applicants can include animal care committee members, veterinarians, animal welfare scientists, animal care personnel, researchers, teachers, animal facility managers, students, ethicists, and community representatives.

All subcommittee members will be appointed to serve for the duration of the guideline development process and should be committed to ensuring the steady progress of the guidelines document. Subcommittee members will work through email and videoconference and will be asked to contribute to the drafting and revision of the document.
