Call for Subcommittee Members for Rabbit Guidelines
The Canadian Council on Animal Care (CCAC) is forming a new subcommittee of volunteer experts to revise its rabbit guidelines. This opportunity is open to those with experience in the care and use of rabbits in science, including those with experience in animal health, ethics, animal husbandry, and animal welfare. Applicants can include animal care committee members, veterinarians, animal welfare scientists, animal care personnel, researchers, teachers, animal facility managers, students, ethicists, and community representatives.

All subcommittee members will be appointed to serve for the duration of the guideline development process and should be committed to ensuring the steady progress of the guidelines document. Subcommittee members will work through email and videoconference and will be asked to contribute to the drafting and revision of the document.
We would be grateful if you could please forward the names, biographies, brief CVs (three to four pages), and contact information of suitable candidates to the CCAC Secretariat at by May 5, 2025. Self-nominations are also welcome.
