CCAC Virtual Learning Series 2025-2026
Join the Canadian Council on Animal Care (CCAC) for the first webinar of the 2025-2026 virtual learning series! In this session, we will explore the animal welfare assessment program in depth, offering insights and guidance to support the ethical care and use of animals in research, teaching, and testing.
Making the Most of Your Animal Welfare Assessment Data – cost $60 + tax
By now, institutions have implemented their animal welfare assessment programs, whether integrated into daily health checks or conducted regularly based on research activity schedules. But the real question is: what happens next? This session will explore how to effectively translate animal welfare assessment data for the use of the animal care committee and how the committee can, in turn, apply that information to strengthen its institutional animal care and use program. Learn how to interpret and present data in ways that identify opportunities to refine protocols, enhance decision-making, and improve animal welfare outcomes.
