Certification

The CCAC offers both on-site and virtual orientation sessions for institutions who want to learn more about the CCAC’s programs, get help in identifying their strengths and weaknesses, or prepare for their first assessment visit.

Once an assessment visit is arranged, the CCAC will forward all of the necessary information relating to the visit approximately 10-12 months prior to the scheduled date. The duration of the visit depends on the size of the institution’s animal care and use program.
