CCAC Stakeholder Survey Feedback

In May 2024, the Canadian Council on Animal Care (CCAC) launched a widespread stakeholder survey to better understand the needs of its community and garner feedback on several topics, appraising the CCAC’s overall performance and level of stakeholder satisfaction. Out of the 2,140 stakeholders (1,594 English and 546 French) who received the survey, the CCAC received 429 responses (328 English and 101 French), with an average response rate of 20% (21% English and 18% French). We would like to thank all of you who took the time to respond to this comprehensive survey.

The CCAC’s last survey in 2018-2019 resulted in a redesigned website, the introduction of new virtual training opportunities, updates to guidelines and policies, additional guidelines support materials, and refined collaboration and communication with various stakeholder groups. The CCAC is equally committed to implementing changes to address the challenges raised in this most recent survey. While some activities have already been implemented, such as the recently announced Virtual Learning Series, the CCAC Secretariat will continue to work together with its standing committees to identify potential solutions to stakeholders’ most pressing concerns, while also working with program participants on some of its larger initiatives.

We would like to thank all respondents to the survey, and everyone who has provided feedback to the CCAC throughout the years. We value your input and recognize it as a key element to our success. Should you have any questions or comments on the CCAC satisfaction survey, please do not hesitate to .
